The moon was full, lighting up the ground below making it for a fun Halloween night for all those who enjoy the holiday.
But trouble was being caused in the dead forest, whose fog was so thick it made sight nearly impossible. No creature would dare venture into this forest on such a holiday. Or at least no sane creature.
Deep in the dead forest three female stood around a cauldron.
"Do you see now Jasper."
A feline spoke proudly as she gestured toward the iron cauldron which now was producing an eerie green glow.
"I told you we could do it."
Excitement edged the felines words as she glanced over toward her hyena companion who seemed just excited as she was. Jasper leaned forward.
"It's finally happening!"
She leaned forward, peering into the bubbling green goo that was creating a mist of smoke.
"Finally those humans will get what they deserve!"
A devilish grin set across the hyena's lips as she let out a cackle.
"Are....are you sure we should be doing this."
The soft nervous voice of the trio spoke up, trying to hide her shivers of fear.
Raven slid a glance over at the reluctant Hyena, Jaspers mate, and gave a less than reassuring smile to her.
"Why of course, it's just some harmless fun."
She reasoned, though she knew her words were false.
"Besides do you really think this magic will work."
Lilly bit her lower lip as she contemplated what her feline friend told her.
Of course, this was harmless fun, no one would get hurt after all.
Would they?
