I'm gonna post some of my school art here for critique. The pieces I post are pieces of an AP (Advanced Placement) portfolio I sent in for an AP Art test (for high school). These pieces are the make of the "breadth" section, which demonstrates your use of the medium in a technical and creative fashion. Please be nice in your critique, offer positive and negative feedback and add any suggestions that I could use to better my skills. These pieces will be scrapped in the future.

Whoooooooooo, this piece was fun xD Our teacher was doing some traditional figure drawing in class with real-life models (clothed, 'cause it's high school) and wanted to add some creative fun to it. So, we took a bunch of gesso (a thick binder used to make things paintable...that's the best way to describe it xD), put them in squeezy tubes, and used that to make the texture of the images you can see in the background. We had to include three figures of different sizes, then fill the space with miscellaneous images. After that, we painted layer after layer of acrylic paint over the gesso, and after each layer, rubbed some of it off with rubbing alcohol to get more texture and show the concept of layers x3
This was more or less an in-between-let's-have-some-fun-before-we-stab-ourselves-with-sharp-pencils-project that was fun to do :D
Another piece from last year. Done on large mat board xD
