Another playable race from my setting, which these Patreon Rewards are helping Populate!

This time: The Matrix Beyonder

You might ask: WTF is this?

Well... let's see... a large sphere covered in chitin, with various tentacles, some function as walking/handling limbs other function as mouths other function as eyes, really good swimmers despite the strange body they became famous, however, for their habit of devouring corpses and creating clones of said devoured, capable of moving around commanded entirely by their consciousness, as long as they were within about 1 kilometer and a half from them.

So. Yes. This is a playable race in my setting. Why? Because sometimes people want to play actual monsters, not just something that is basically a human with red skin and funky forehead. An actual thing made of horror.

You go for the angle where it can't help being what it is and tries to live along other human beings. Or you might want to just go play Carrion (the game) with your friends but on tabletop instead of a video game. Or... why not go for "the thing" angle?
