This is me being a stickler for detail, but ACOG sights usually have a optical fiber on top, unless you were thinking of a different model other than the TA31. Otherwise, freaking awesome job :)

And about the ACOG... I know they usually do, but I used this for a model *shrug* I pay way more attention to details than somepeople would give me credit for ;3 others again praise me for it XD

Well first of all I'm glad it's not gory, in response to the comments both here and on hers from people wanting gore.

I think it's amazing how this is was horrifying to me when I first saw it and then after reading her comic it suddenly becomes a very powerful piece of fan art. The circumstances really define the feeling of the piece. Great job and thanks for the link to the original artist!

The basic standard model not the dressed up ones like these. One (551)has a lot of the bells and whistles, while the other (556)has a different foreend and buttstock.

Yeah...sniping doesn't happenw ith regular issue rifles

A designated marksman is a fake sniper they use semi-auto rifles to engage targets in rapid succession at 400 to 800 yard,I know that for the SIG 556 it would be extremely difficult to strike a target at 500 yards as that's most 5.56x45mm chambered assault rifles have for max range but you could do so with almost any rifle chambered to the 7.62x51mm

I know this because it was going to be my job in the military and I took great pride in it until I got reclassed due to PTSD
