Addie was with her mother, at the park. While her mother was getting some hot cocoa for the two, Addie sat on a bench, looking up at the sky. She wondered why her father was the opposite of her mother. Of course, she knew she was adopted. Both her parents were Skulldogs.

Addie's mother got the cocoa, and as they drank it, they walked back, to be greeted by her father.

"Where have you been?!" He asked, clearly not happy. "Addie! To your room!"

"But I didn't-" Addie protested.

"No buts. You went out without my permission. To your room."

Addie grumbled, and walked to her room, slamming the door and relaxing on her bed. She looked up at her roof as she drifted off.....

The next morning, Addie woke up, got dressed, and went to the park with her mother again, paws leaving imprints in the snow.

"I need to use the restroom." Her mother said. "Wait here, okay?"

Addie nodded, her mother ducking into a public bathroom.

As she waited, A boy ran into her. "Sorry!" He yelled, before running off.

Addie then noticed a boy her age sitting nearby.

The boy walked over. "Hi. I'm Seinki."

"Oh, um, I'm Addie!" Addie said.

"You okay?" He asked, noticing how cute Addie was.

"Yes." Addie said, noticing how cute Seinki was.

"Wanna go get dinner later?" Seinki asked awkwardly.

"Sure!" Addie answered, A bit too happily.



Later that day, Addie snuck out. She met up with Seinki, and had dinner. And that's when she realized, maybe, just maybe, that thanks to Seinki, maybe she could finally stand her father.
