Suppose this goes with the last picture I did with her in it. Wanted to practice with some kind of environment, since I desperately need it, so I decided to do a concept for Rheri's bunk in the Nebulous Shelf Colony.

Holy shit, this is amazing!
I'm really loving this creature, and the way she's interacting with her environment. It looks awkward from a human point of view - but that's great, because she's an alien! The way you've got her holding and poking at that screen with both her hand and foot, stretched out like that... it's just awesomely expressive body language that screams extraterrestrial!
I think i like that even more than the amazing art... and the art is amazing, yep!
I love just the small hints of warm colours amidst all the blue. Mmmmm!
And haha... the nature of this scene makes me wonder if that squid is a real creature, or a plushy of some kind XD Because when it comes to aliens you never know. :D

Finally managed to tweak the species to my liking, now having way too much fun drawing her.. XD SO THERE WILL PROBABLY BE MORE, HURRAH.
I'm glad my intent came through. My main goal was to just make her look relaxed - since this is her home, after all - as well as making the pose seem both alien but natural (for her at least).
Bahahaha. SPACE SQUIDS.... you really never do know. D8
