It is pretty ridiculous when you think about it...What are grownups actually saying when they do stuff like that??? I have built shelter so I can protect myself from the elements.....But I really miss rocks and sticks so I will bring them indoors with me? Grown ups can be soo weird
Once you enter an Ikea it takes you HOURS to get out. They dont let you leave unless you buy vases with sticks.

Honestly I really like the stylized look to the original. The retake definitely looks more realistic though. Also I’m totally one of those adults who has pebbles and and glass gemstones in a jar and fancy sticks in a vase. Dunno why, they’re just appealing to me.
Ive got the stones and sticks too I think thats just whats expected of you once you get bigger? Although my stones are ones ive collected when ive been out and about...same with the sticks...so i didnt actually buy them...they all have names and backstories too.....maybe im not so grown up....
Seeing this redone is like playing an old game that's been remastered in a time with better graphic capability. I mean, I remember thinking at the time that it looked really good and it was a great compelling story, and then I see it again new and improved and it just blows you away
I actually like both versions of this page. The new version is kinda like Gem is narrorating things while she's giving a grand tour of the place. The old version was more of gem arriving home, and a voiceover describing the home, while images of it floated in the background. It kinda makes sense in my mind, almost like something you'd see in a movie. Maybe I'm weird or interpreting wrong, but to me, both make artistic sense, and both seem to fit into the story, with slight variations on the telling of said story, like it kinda shifts the setting a little bit, even though it's the same. Does this seem to make sense to anyone else, or am I overanalyzing it?
