No, seriously... We know most of the anime girls are cute and this is just an "effect" to show it off. There's just no reason to put a light pink/red effect on their faces to know about that 24/7 on each episode...

I've seen animes like Senran Kagura, Made In Abyss, even Madoka Magica (Though this last one i left it half way but will re-watch it one day)

And even when they have a situation they're about to die or are horribly hurted, with all the body fully clothed up (No ecchi nor slightly ripped clothes,etc. All FULLY clothed. Think of long jeans and fully covered shirts etc) they still blush!

Now ya might say "But in the -THE GOD OF HIGHSCHOOL- anime, everybody has a redder nose!".. And i say "No idea. Atleast they're not drunk nor embarassed about anything!..But the girl protagonist and sub-female characters don't blush outta nowhere!"
