According to F.E.A.R. Combat, which is the online multi-player version of F.E.A.R., now offered for free at www.joinfear.com, kicks are more powerful than bullets. While playing the game, you can choose the shotgun, be point blank at an enemy, fire, but if they have 100 health and 100 armor, they can survive. However, if someone slide kicks you in the ankle, or bicycle kicks you in the face, you will die. Period. There is no defense against this. Even on modded servers to give you 250 health and 200 armor, you will still die with one kick.

Oh, oh, by the way! Do you think I could come over today? Ethan kinda wants to drop me off over there, and I wanted to get my damned FLASH from you! ;A;
That and I wanna talk to you a bit about Feli, and cause I love spending time with you.... And I'll do the pictures for you today, only if you want to, though! x3
I know you wanna crack down real hard on your H/W, so I won't try to distract you from it. >x<;;;

It would be easier to just see you this weekend. If we stay at the library, that can't work because Ethan doesn't get off work until nine, and you would have to be gone by eight, but I would prefer you just didn't set foot in my house until the weekend. If you're in my house and I'm doing HW, they're still going to rave over your presence. Just have patience and wait until the weekend. I'm not graduated yet.
Look, I still don't see why your parents would flip out about me being there, other than just cause of a bad mood, if you're doing your homework and I'm not doing anything to distract you, especially if you told them you're doing your work just fine, and show them proof. Are you just making up excuses? Cause if you just don't want to see me again, then just tell me.
If not, then just to prove it to me, have me over. If they get pissed of and I have to leave, I'll go to the library and call Dann, if I can't stay with him, then it's my fault that I have to stay in the libraray till it closes.

Because they're retarded and my dad goes ballistic about it because "no one is supposed to be over during the week at all Ryan! I told ya that before!" And then I have to hear about it for the next few hours and the next day. I know there isn't a problem with it so long as I actually do the homework, but they don't care. Remember he got pissed we were sleeping in the same bed fully clothed above the covers in the middle of the afternoon with the door open? Yeah, they're psycho.

No I'm not just making up excuses I'm giving valid and standard reasons that are true to make life easier for both of us.

I'd prefer to have them continue to enjoy you so you can come over on the days you're permitted with no hassle.

Fine whatever, I've never seen him get pissed about me being there. He just getts pisses when I'm there after 8, other than that, I've never seen him get upset when he sees me. I'll just stay at home by myself then. I really think you're overreacting about what'd happen about me comming over for just one weekday this week, but whatever.
Try on Resident Evil 5 for size, where melee attacks can only be used when an opponent is stunned by gunfire. the 'Uppercut' attack, for example (I think it can only be used against the Executioner sub-boss, but still...) deals a whopping 3000 damage. By way of comparison, most of the guns you'd be using on a typical first play-through will be doing less than 1000 per shot (the second most powerful per-shot weapon in the game deals 5000 when fully upgraded, and is second only to the rocket launcher which has double that power but is single-use).
I find it odd that with all of the pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, magnum revolvers, shotguns, AND EVEN A FREAKING KNIFE (the knives in RE5 are seriously nerfed compared to RE4 or even real-life), one of the most effective things you can do against mind controlled, parasite infested psychopaths is a punch in the face.

it's like Krauser from RE4. Unload every bullet from every gun, throw every grenade at his face, and he's still standing. However, *knife, knife, knife, knife, knife* dead.
...the hell? I'd make that the next according to series, but Gun < Melee has already been done =( If you have anymore suggestions, I'll be happy to take them. Tomorrow is MW2

The knife fighting with Krauser seemed like some sort of symbolism that went completely over my head since I never played RE2; though he most definitely had some sort of history with Leon. Against anyone not-Krauser the knife did fairly realistic damage (IMO), as did most of the firearms in comparison to each other...until the upgrades get all uneven and overpowered (and the magnums are certainly exaggerated, but that's understandable since RE4 and 5 are trying to be more like action movies and action movie fans think Magnum handgun rounds are every bit as powerful as .50 BMG).
As for further suggestions...how about Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 where a submachine gun can deal equal or greater damage than an assault rifle for no readily apparent reason? Not much of a gameplay difference between the SIG 552, AUG, MP5, and Skorpion.

I'll take it into consideration, and it will most likely be done. As for the RE4 kinfe damage, it was kinda real yeah. The symbolism was that Krauser used to work with Leon for the cops but then went all bad and Leon was like nuuuu. But I don't fully understand the knife thing. Maybe Krauser was always jealous of Leon beting better than him with a knife? Never beat RE2
Whatever the knife thing meant, if it meant anything at all, they milked the hell out of it in RE4...particularly that one big ass QTE knife battle. In any case, they made it pretty clear that they wanted you to slice Krauser up rather than shooting him (I totally laid his ass out with the TMP).
Speaking of the TMP, I think it's freaking hilarious that Leon S. Kennedy, alone and on foot, can kill not one but four El Gigantes using a 9x19mm machine pistol (in fact, I managed to kill the first one so fast using on the TMP and the knife, the dog never showed up). And yet Chris Redfield, using a 7.62x39 mm light machine gun mounted to the back of an armored truck, can barely handle one Ndesu WHILE BEING ASSISTED BY A SECOND SHOOTER ON A 7.62x51 mm ROTARY MACHINE GUN. RE5 was all kinds of FUBAR where damage was concerned.

RE5 in particular though, because they turn pistol-caliber SMGs into borderline weapons of mass destruction by making full size machine guns so weak. You could do an according to based on that alone.
According to: Resident Evil
TMP > M134
They also seriously dropped the ball on ammunition in 5. I'm not talking about the .44 magnum rounds loaded into the S&W 500, I mean something much worse. All their automatics are squished into the "Machine Guns" class, which all use the same ammo. Meaning that .32 ACP, 9x19mm, 5.56x45mm and 5.45x39mm are all some how interchangeable in Africa (must involve some sort of witchdoctor magic). Even more amusingly, the magazines on the different gun models are all realistic looking, meaning the ammunition really must resize itself when being loaded in a different gun.

RE4 was better about ammo; in that it was 9 mm, 5.56 mm, .45 magnum, etc. instead of just generic PISTOL AMMO, MACHINE GUN AMMO, RIFLE AMMO (because the rifles were different calibers as well).
RE4 had its fails as well; for instance the Five-seveN (Punisher in game) is actually 5.7 mm, not 9 mm (it uses the same ammo as the P90). And what truly boggled my mind is why the TMP had to have its own ammo (custom 9 mm). Why did they have to give it its own special ammo? It's 9 mm, it uses the same Luger rounds as any of the other handguns. Apparently Leon can reshape 9x19 mm to fit a 5.7x28 mm handgun, but he can't load them into a machine pistol which uses that caliber in its original form.

Well, maybe not in the "stripping away his Hit Points to kill him" way. But you are slashing him in the face with a miniature machete.
And he does survive, according to Separate Ways, and then goes after Ada (for some reason).
That said, I usually just whip the Killer7 out and blast him with it regardless. Because I fucking love the 1911. And I like to imagine it actually shoots .454 Cassul, which would make it the world's only automatic to ever fire the round.

.454 Casull: Because thought .45 Long Colt just wasn't fucking powerful enough. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.454_Casull
Still the third most powerful production handgun ammunition, next to the .460 S&W Magnum (Upgraded from the Casull), and the S&W .500 Magnum, though it's been around longer and much more powerful than both.
A notable appearance of the round is the Hellsing anime, where Arucard's giant silver handgun is flat out called "The Casull" because it fires the round, and would be the only automatic capable of the feat if it were real. Of course it's mostly upstaged by the later, bigger Jackal, which is somehow chambered in 13mm, the largest ammunition type you could possibly put in a hand gun, at least in the states.
Course, in the show the guns where totally unfeasible for a human to use. Not for the recoil, since they're big enough to eat it up, but for the sheer weight. The Jackal is noted for weighing more than a fully loaded M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, at 17Kg to the SAW's 10.
...Wait, where did I go just now?

While I understand guns pretty well, I'm not a munitions expert XD
I know what you're saying and that's fucking awesome that we have effective handguns carrying above .45 cal ammo. Then again, for any job requiring a handgun I think I'll stick with an HK USP .45 or if I can ever afford one, Mark 23.

Actually the Desert Eagle is the most powerful automatic, but doesn't shoot the most powerful handgun round. Joseph (Arucards gun) is a fictional handgun. And the .454 Casull is ultimately used more for game than self defense.
.45's are generally an awesome defense round if you're shooting solid slugs, like the military does (hence the reason why special forces units still prefer guns like the MEU (SOC) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MEU%28SOC%29_pistol ).
9mm gives about the same performance shooting hollow points or other specialized ammunition, which the military is disallowed from using.
I'd recommend the USP over the Mark 23.
Video games play up the advantages of the Mk.23 because it has great stats, on paper at least. But in reality it's just a giant version of the USP, oversized to the point of screwing it's ergonomics. It's big, with the silencer it's nearly a foot long, and with ammo it weighs as much as an unloaded MP5.

While the Deagle may be super powerful, it's accuracy is worse than terrible. No one needs a .50 cal bullet in a handgun, because if you need .50 cal ammo the job you're doing does not a handgun require.
Personally I have a thing for the Mark 23 (not from video games from real world. I'm not that guy who's like "OMG THE ACR HAS NO RECOIL IN CoD MW2 IT MUST BE TEH BEST GUN EVAR! XD) and it's proven to be more reliable in most situations. It's a little heavier yes but the recoil can be easier to control but I can't call either of them "better" persay. They're both fantastic firearms and I'd be happy with either, I just happen to love the Mark 23, just as I do the MP5. I know the MP7 is better than the 5 in like, almost every way, but I'd still want the 5 just because it's fucking awesome to me. Now, if I were doing a job, I'd take the 7 because it's more effective. For normal shit though, the 5 all day

As well the MP5 utilized common and inexpensive ammo. Good if you go to the range regularly.
Speaking of .50's, I don't remember who but someone made a .50 1911 shooting a proprietary round. They lowered the powder load and decreased the muzzle velocity so the gun would act the same as the normal .45 version. It's only really useful as a self defense round, since the large, slow bullet is easy to stop with body armor.
But I suppose there's no reason not to get a civilian Mk.23 for some fun on the range. Shoot it enough and the awkward ergonomics might stop being a problem.
I've recently been wanting to get hold of a Jericho 941 chambered in .45 . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jericho_941
Since it's based on the CZ75 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CZ_75 only, well, better looking.
I also understand that, with the shape of the grip, it's much more natural in the hand, like an old Luger. And the last time I held a Luger it was like a revelation, like touching something supernatural, it was that well balanced.
But Lugers are the most consistently expensive pistols on the market. A guy I knew bought a Luger instead of a new fridge. And it wasn't even a rare model.

Most games are fucked for how they treat this concept called "stopping power". To the point where you can only imagine these people have only ever seen pictures of the guns, and never handled, fired, or even read about the guns they're putting in the game.
I was playing Battlefield 2 not more than 3 minutes ago. I'd worked hard at the Recon class, working my way towards the greatest unlock possible, a Barrett M95. The big .50.
First use, after a game's worth of using rifles that can't kill unless you get the headshot, I finally put one center of mass and wait for the carnage.
But my target shrugs it off....
Somehow, BF2 developers believe that a .50 caliber sniper rifle is less powerful than a knife or a shotgun, the only two weapons capable of one hit kills to the center of mass.
I'm shooting people with a gun so powerful, in real life it rips human being in half. So powerful it's a war crime to shoot at people with it. And it still can't kill with a direct hit? WHAT THE FUCK!?
WHEN I UNLOCK A GUN WHERE IT'S A WAR CRIME TO SHOOT IT, I WANT A WAR CRIME TO HAPPEN EVERY TIME I SHOOT IT!!

Ah, video game logic...like how in CoD games, you can take four or five hits from a Desert Eagle (which can be fired at speeds that would break the Terminator's wrist), crouch down for 10 seconds, and come back up healthy as can be. But dear god, do not even get nicked with a knife in the foot or you're deader than dead.
