With the sheer size and weight of that tree, I imagine that the alien slime raptors will certainly be the consistency of slime. Hopefully though Tir will take the precaution of checking to make sure they really are dealt with and there aren't any nasty surprises like regenerating aliens or they turn out to be shapeshifters whose natural form is a slime and they ooze their way out from under the tree none the worse for wear.
