Just like my last submission back in 2006. I had a crappy computer. Rendering fur back then was a pain in the ass, I'm sure it still is now.
Unlike the earlier image, this is a slide show and it has fur. :3

"Ok. So this isn't exactly a smooth Tf like the deviation I posted earlier, but at least it has fur, so you can get the impression of that "wow" factor if I knew how to linearly transition between vertex weight paints. :P
The fur is nothing that special. Just a feature that comes with Blender3d's particle system. The particle system does create some artifacts even though I tried to create a "solid" mesh that should have not let the hairs penetrate the claws and paws of the model. The thing was though, I needed a hell of a lot of particles to cover up that hand. 100,000 to be exact. So as I increased the vertex weight paint values, the rendering time went through the roof! I'm talking 2:44 for the last frame! It was soo bad, I had to give it real-time permissions on my computer because a program that consumes over 160 megabytes of ram that causes the occasional low virtual memory error needed some dedicated processing time. 100% to be exact :P . Maybe it's me, but 2.1 ghz might not cut it for those kinds of animations. Maybe I need more ram? Should I upgrade?
But anyway, I guess that if I don't find out how to linearly transition between weight paints, I'll have to do it myself using a python script. Shouldn't be too hard considering I took honors visual basic."

I've used the hand from the MakeHuman project back when it was under MIT Licence(http://www.makehuman.org/) which allows me to freely use its mesh as long as I say...

I've also based my morph target using the image provided with Goldenwolf's paw drawing tutorial sadly, such a tutorial no longer exists on her site... how sad :[
