XD no, not all demons are males, I've got a balance of female and male demon characters, these four just happen to be couples, though they're not all gay. Gaze is bi, and before Phantom he had a wife. As for the Phantom question, I've got a little piece of art I'll be posting to point a direction towards his origin, since Phantom is Abby's adopted son
