So I have had this piece in my folders for a while and have finally gotten the chance to finish it.
Angel/Nightmare is one of the pack leaders of my mutated canines. While normally a busy girl there are times when she has to get away from all the chaos and take some time to herself. This just happened to be one of those days.

Laying upon a cloud the young female canine looked down below.
Everything would normally be blurry, but with Angel's sharp eyes it was not hard for her to make out the pelts of her pack mates as they went about their day.
She watched and pondered why she continued to deal with the daily dealings of everyday life. With her wings they could carry her anywhere. It would not be a hard feat from her in the least. But no matter how hard she tried to convince herself to do so she opened her eyes partially with a soft sigh.
"They would be lost without me."
she whispered, clearly disappointed that she had convinced herself to stay and deal with her duties instead of flying away.
