Just thought I'd upload what I have done for the second set of the Gemstone Dragon bookmark series. From left to right: Sapphire, Opal, Amethyst.
That Amethyst Dragon has been causing me the most problems with the clouds >.< That's as good as I can get it I'm afraid...I just hope it looks alright once the dragon's all coloured up too =P At least the amethyst crystals look cool :)
The original of this, along with the first set, will be for sale at the AC Art Show 2010.

I just regular ol' painters tape ;) I've got some that's 2 inches thick, so I just lay it right over the bookmarker and cut around the dragon and remove the parts that need painting, and keep the dragon covered with it :)
