Arix Ordragc - Reference Sheet (by Keewata)
Time for another reference sheet update, this time by the talented
keewata! Mostly done as a slight armour redesign as well as a couple of alternate outfits that you may have seen around the place.
Arix Ordragc, all his life, has been a warrior. Unlike many other dragons, he has no magical ability to speak of, to the extent that being in the presence of unknown magic makes him uneasy, so instead he trained himself in the way of physical combat. Although skilled in many different forms of weaponry, he favours the classic sword and shield combo. This, along with his plate armour, speaks to his favoured fighting style - putting forth an impenetrable defence, before he can take down a foe with a few decisive blows. He works well in a team, favouring a role on the front lines, directing enemy attack (and various other forms of danger) onto himself, to give his allies room to get to safety. And although he may be utterly useless when it comes to magical matters, and a little too big and bulky for things that require a more delicate touch, his sheer endurance and physical strength have proven invaluable.
Somewhat unfortunately, though, his "protection at all costs" outlook can get him in some trouble. He suffers somewhat from "chronic hero syndrome". If he sees that someone could use his aid, he finds it difficult to refuse it. More than once, this has caused him to spread himself entirely too thin, letting important tasks fall through the cracks and bringing him down to utter exhaustion. It also makes him somewhat easy to take advantage of. Not that he's gullible, per se. He does tend to know when someone's looking to manipulate him, but hey, what if there's even the slightest chance that he's wrong...?
Outside of adventure, Arix is quite easily excitable, with energy to burn. Emotions run high for him - whether he's happy, upset, or enraged, those around him tend to know it. He also has a tendency towards vanity - he knows that he's skilled at what he does, and he's proud of it. He tries not to let it get to the point of arrogance, though. Though he drinks praise and admiration like fine wine, he'll never undersell the skills of others, or take credit for something he can't back up.

Indeed, roaming an untamed wilderness, delving through ancient ruins and fighting terrible monsters, all while wearing a heavy metal suit, will certainly tone a dragon's body in short order.
And I do try my best in that sense, to show compassion. A stereotype I've always tried to avoid is the 'warrior who judges everyone by their strength/skill in battle'. To that end, I strive to be as supportive as I can to everyone I come across, no matter what they do. Yes, I'm awesome - but I want everyone to think they're awesome.

He's from a fantasy world, different from our own. There is no Asia.

Awesome looking dragon! :) Coincidentally, I also have a fantasy character named Arix. She's a werewolf warrior:
