It was definitely fun taking a bit of a break from the usual stuff I draw, even if this isn't that much different, so perhaps I'll do more in the future. It seems I spend a lot of time drawing anthropomorphic animals and stylized creatures--drawing them in their natural state just doesn't seem to occur to me for whatever reason.
I suppose I could draw a rat or something, and stick with the "cute rodent" theme, or maybe take a shot at drawing a bird since I pretty much never draw birds?
