About a month ago I reached 100 followers on Instagram woo! To celebrate, I hosted a raffle for a free PokeBong according to a YCH I posted there. When the raffle ended, I only had 3 contest entries, so I thought "What the heck? This is a celebration after all!" and decided to tackle all three. This week I finished the two easiest, Ditto and Umbreon, but my next project is a Shiny Mega Rayquaza - SUUUPER excited to give that one a shot!
The moment someone added Umbreon to the list of possible PokeBongs I could be making, I immediately was like "ooooo I really hope I get to do that one!" I've already done Vaporeon, which is my fiance's favorite Eeveelution, but mine is this sucka~ For a long time in my youth when Umbreon and Espeon first came out, Umbreon was definitely my favorite. I have really fond memories of the Gamecube game Pokemon Coliseum with my best friend Helix ♥ Helix favored Espeon, me Umbreon, and together we played the crap out of that game lolz So inspired by the desert the game takes place in and my childhood nostalgia, I thought this swirl of smoke and sparkles would be a suitable Umbreon background. It is a little overwhelming, but I like clutter personally XD All the most distinguishing parts show, anyway.
The diamonds were based off of the Pokemon's type, so as a dark type I decided to call this Darkened Diamonds, ooo~ My fiance's favorite diamond is a Black Diamond, and when it comes to weed options Diamond in Live Resin is her go-to favorite, so if this was legit, I'd definitely get it for her haha Eventually I'd like to make type-inspired wax, shatter, joints, etc. but I can't overwhelm myself with projects, so either it'll just happen slowly or I'll focus on that another time lolz

Back when my very first PokeBong was still just a WIP, my fiance got really excited about the concept and made me a list of gen1-3 Pokemon she wanted her very own bongs of. She then ranked her listed pokes with 1-5 stars based on how badly she wanted me to draw them so I'd know what order to get 'em done. I will continue to create PokeBongs based on that list in order to practice digital painting.
