When it comes to the safety of others, Thyo is always quick to act. Even to the point of endangering himself. Working on the city's waterfront, Thyo ensures the safety of both humans and the wildlife that make the beaches and waterways their home. His rash attitude for his work shows from the various scars on his person. His most famous are from his alligator relocation tussle, a surprise shark attack, and apprehension of a criminal anthro civilian. Even though his eye looks damaged, he can see just fine, his luck to avoid fatal and crippling encounters abundant. Even though he could get the scars removed and fixed, he admits that he keeps them as past lessons that need remembering.
Thyo’s body alterations are provided by his employers, and are needed for his work. As high tier alterations, he can gain massive amounts of weight or muscle quickly to either lift heavy objects, weigh down objects, or hold down people/animals. He also has the ability to bloat himself up in order to become a human lifesaver for water rescues. He was provided special clothing that can stretch with his changes, and never tear. His lack of care for his uniform led to him being denied any replacement clothing, he doesn’t mind the tears though. He says it makes him look cool.
Despite all the scars, Thyo loves animals, especially aquatic life. On his days off he can be found diving offshore, snorkeling near shore, or fishing from the shore.
