I do love the concept of The Great Mother. Its often described as the prime concept of Yin

Yeah I thought of the concept when I started to world build because I had to ask myself "What do they believe in? How do they treat death?"
When I first attempted this comic, I didn't have this concept and I'm so glad I've done it now. It helps with knowing what sort of phrases they'll say to each other when it comes to blessings and curses and whatnot. It also answered where they believed their elemental powers came from and how there is four 'top' Tribes.

Go by your First assumption Axioms. Axiomatic organization is a requirement for abstract concept with mathematic or symbols it is the primary measure at how people develop belief systems from christianity to currency for example. The dollar has no intrinsic value nor does gold for that matter(especially given other materials and ect) it only buys things because of Trust. You trust in the institutions that maintain the dollar making currency the medium for trade. Given that axioms are base assumptions its ironic that in a sense when you realize that to have the ability to think complex thoughts like math music or such an organism requires a degree of believing in some sort Fantasy
