You should probably think harder before you criticize my practice. I created this species but made them *open;* meaning anyone can make them; when I didn't have to share my creation at all.
I spent my own time and effort making this lineart; and as a person who makes a living from art; I have a right to place value on my artwork. I have no obligation to give away my work for free, and providing my base to patrons who support me is a way of thanking them for that support. It still in no way restricts anyone from using my species, which is free.
