This didn't actually start off as a Star Trek piece, but when I finished the shirt I thought it looked a bit like a uniform, so I added the insignia, haha. For the background and a lot of the textures, I was just sort of playing around with a bunch of different brushes to see what looked good and what didn't. I'm about to launch into a digital painting course that will hopefully help me take my work to the next level.
