Project Titan isn’t too dissimilar to other efforts to build a better fighter. Experiments involving mixtures of chemicals, rays, and nanotechnology were performed to varying levels of success. While there weren’t any catastrophic failures, the past 22 attempts were unable to dial in the right combination of treatment and test subject that even the best result wasn’t much more than what could have been possible with dedicated effort.
Science marches along undeterred. On to subject #23 “WulfBane”. Turning up the refracted artificial solar radiation, a fresh batch of nanites to aid in cellular reconstruction, and a cocktail of steroids and proteins to provide the fuel for growth.
Early results are promising. A clear visible boost to muscle mass within the first hour of treatment. The gradual increase in height was unexpected but also proved beneficial. As the strength continued to rise, it needed a larger frame capable of supporting the growing power.
You couldn’t blame him for the boost in confidence to the level of cockiness and wanting to show off his gains any chance he could get. It seems the subject had a latent dormant lyconthropic trait that bonded with and amplified our efforts. As the sequence begins to slow, subject 023 is over twice his original height, even wider than that, and packed with so much mass that any single part of him would dwarf what his entire body was before the treatment.
It should go without saying that we have found our Project Titan candidate and further treatments and testing are required.
