This little desert foxy taught me that it's important to draw inspiration from your experiences and that it's time to break into a new phase of art-making.
I was having trouble figuring out the background until my roommate suggested we visit the local nursery. Even though I felt that I should keep painting, we went along. It ended up providing the inspiration for the background. It's important to break away from ruts and dig new trails to achieve your goals.
I'm also taking this lesson to mean that it's time for bigger, more ambitious work.
Thank you, foxy!
