The Warriors' New Discovery (3/6)
The scouts' newfound size made it easy to navigate along the stone pathways. It was firmer than the mossy earth they had been standing on before, but compared to the usual hard ground of their home, it was pleasantly supple beneath their feet. As they passed by the strange rectangular structures, the leader of the three noticed that one of them contained small, bubble-like protrusions on top of it. The bubbles were clear, and peering into one, the leader could see something small moving around just underneath it. Curious, the leader grabbed the lip of the top of the structure and gently lifted it open, like the lid of a box. Finally able to get a good look at the little thing inside, the leader nearly squealed in delight.
It was adorable!
It looked just like him, with two arms and two legs. Like many beasts he had encountered, though, the creature had a strange appendage above its neck where a helmet would go, and it also possesed a tail. Unlike most beasts, however, this one was ridiculously, adorably tiny. The little thing was quick to take notice of the scouts peering intently at it, barely able to keep themselves from cooing at how precious it was.
At that moment, Rec Shortpants sighed, for he knew that the preciously normal day he was having had come to an abrupt end.
