you could have made the shading on another layer and inserted the shadow layer as an opaque or change the fill over the colored fur patterns. So you did not loose the cool shading you did. to the fur patterns. i only JUST learned how to do scanning so that i don't get exasperated and quit the whole piece because i left far too many pencil lines in the scan. It is by Silverwolf i downloaded the whole tutorial i can send it to you if you want as well as my set of fur and spot brushes i got off another site.

Ah yeah, I ended up having to double the shadows layer and tweak the opacity a bit to get the results I wanted.

tutorials i got from a bunch of other people the best are the first one from Vera the last from Silverwolf. vera is on eyes, the last cuts about 600 hours off the usual time it takes me to do a picture. the best way is to send them over yahoo messanger.
