I decided to make a logo for Hitsume Ashiatsu. From now on, every story involving the masseuses working for Carel will have the logo of Hitsume Ashiatsu so that the readers will know that they are the protagonists of the story.

The logo is a winged golden badge, representing how the family of Yu Ame Tai, the current grandmaster of Hitsume Ashiatsu were a family of cranes. The golden badge symbolizes their connection to the Chinese warlord who held them hostage and how they know worked as assassin for Japanese royalty for a few dynasties until they were released. The heart being squeezed by talons represents how Hitsume Ashiatsu started with the cranes starting as masseuses who developed assassination techniques by mixing them with ninjutsu. As such, the squeezed heart represents their victim's lives being literally at their feet. The jade letters symbolize the ground jade that was use as payment for the cranes' services, which they used to pay for their stay in Japan. At the top of the badge, there is Japanese kanji that spells "Hitsume Ashiatsu" to represent the massage/martial arts/ assassination technique. Beneath the badge, in nine different squares, there are nine Chinese pinyin that has the school's motto: "The pleasure of walking on life is enchanting"

I must say that i had a lot of fun drawing this symbol. I am improving with my digital art skills. Learned how to do shading and ligthing. I welcome some critique.
