A surprise pic for my wonderful thickly padded pal , and the crazy consequences when you put the diapered loving poochyena on diaper duty!

One day at the Happy Cub daycare where Marshall goes to during the summer, the caretakers have decided to try out a new activity for the cubs called "Little Helping Paws" in which the cubs would do simple chores around the daycare such as cleaning up toys, serving lunch to the other cubs, being a caretaker's assistant, and the like. And if the cub does a good job at a certain task, the cub would be rewarded by choosing a new toy inside the treasure chest (the treasure chest is filled with new toys usually for good behavior, perfect attendance, and birthdays).

But someone at the meeting board wasn't thinking clearly when one chore was mentioned, and that was the ever dreaded diaper duty. At first the meeting board dropped the idea since only a precious few cubs could do diaper changes such as Marshall. But some said that learning how to do diaper duty could be a vital lesson to the other cubs, and have them to teach them to change their own diapers so the caretakers don't have to do it. After some caretakers agreed, diaper duty is now part of "Little Helping Paws".

And on the next day, the caretakers decided to test out the new diaper duty chore and see how it goes. And the first cub to be selected for diaper duty is none other than.... Crunch the Poochyena.

Crunch was super happy about his new job as official diaper changer for the day. And as he got out a full pack of diapers and some baby wipes and baby powder, he proudly wandered around the playroom looking for costumers for a change. Unfortunately, nobody knew it at the time, this turned out to be a very BAD idea. While Crunch knew how to change diapers, uses the most thickest diapers ever, and was willing to change anyone, the real problem is that Crunch doesn't think one diaper won't do the cub any justice. Instead, he would tape two, three, even FIVE diapers on the poor unexpected cub until that said cub couldn't get up or move around from the extreme thickness. In other words, it was just an opportunity for Crunch to play his favorite game which is "diaper stacking". And diaper stacking is a strict no-no at the daycare.

And it just so happens that Crunch's first customer for a diaper change was none other than Crunchy's best friend and diaper buddy, Marshall Foxstone. After emptying out his lunch from his system and into his diaper, Marshall needed a change badly. And as he saw Crunch with a pack of diapers and changing supplies, Marshall went towards him for a change. As Marshall laid down on the playroom carpet, Crunch made quick work in removing the nasty dirty diaper and gently cleaned up Marshall's bottom with a baby wipe. As Crunch continued changing Marshall, he did some light teasing to Marshall.

Crunch: "Wow! You really did a messy number on that diaper, Marshy! Had another three cheeseburgers for lunch again?"

Marshall: *blushing a bit* "Yeah, but would you please complete my diaper change, Crunchy? Me, Amber and our baby Rusty is playing house and I have to look after Baby Rusty while Amber cooks dinner."

Crunch: "Will do, Marshy!" Crunch then pulled out one Dry-Pawz Maximum Dry diaper (the most thickest diaper in the daycare), unfolded it and gently tucked it under Marshall's legs. And after applying some baby powder and folding the diaper up to Marshall's waist, Crunch gently taped the diaper together and Marshall's change was complete.

But then, Crunch gently patted the front of Marshall's diaper and said "You're not thick enough, Marshall." And so Crunch pulled out another diaper and taped it around Marshall's previous diaper. And then another diaper!

By now Marshall has three ultra thick diapers attached to his waist, and was having a difficult time moving around. He wanted to go back to Amber and Rusty so he can continue to play house with them. But Crunch just gently patted Marshall's thick diapered bottom and said "I don't think you're thick enough Marshy! Looks like you need another diaper!"

"ANOTHER DIAPER?!!?" squealed Marshall as he tried to squirm away from Crunch's grip. But Crunch had Marshall firmly pinned down to the floor and there's was no way that he's allowing Marshall to escape as Crunch reached over towards the pack of diapers and pulled out another diaper.

Meanwhile, Loriel was watching all the commotion and was extremely shocked at Crunch's attempts at diaper duty and all the thick diapers taped around Marshall's waist as Crunch taped a FOURTH diaper around the poor fox's waist. And realizing that she's next in line for a change, Loriel now has a sudden sense of impending doom.

Thankfully, Amber, who was wondering where "Daddy Marshy" went to and saw what was happening to him, she immediately contacted a caretaker. So to make a long story short, Crunch was "immediately terminated" from diaper duty. And since the caretakers didn't want to waste all those diapers, poor Marshall has to wear all those diapers for the rest of the day. Since he could only crawl around in all that thick padding, Marshall tried his best as he continued to play as "daddy". But Amber didn't mind having Marshall crawling around in all those diapers since the whole thing wasn't Marshall's fault in the beginning. All he wanted was a simple diaper change and he nearly wounded up wearing half of the diaper pack! And Marshall forgave Crunch for his little job as diaper changer gone out of control, and invited him to play house with Marshall and Amber. But as long Crunch gets to play the baby along with Baby Rusty!

As a result, having the cubs doing diaper duty was now off the "Little Helping Paws" chart. Now all diaper changing must be done by a caretaker and no one else, much to the chagrin of all the caretakers. But a valuable lesson has been learned from both the caretakers and the cubs. Never, ever put a cub on diaper duty. Because you may never know how many diapers you'll have taped around your waist once the changing's through!
