I want a pet duck. x.x

My mom does not want one. She still has trauma from having a bunch of pet ducklings when she was a little kid. Her dad got her a whole gaggle of them from a farm and she was taking care of them... but she was a kid in the ghetto and did not know much about ducks other then what she saw in kids books and cartoons. She knew they liked water, so she put them in a bucket... but did not realize they could not get out, and they dont float forever, they have to get out to rest. So she left them there, came out a few hours later and realized they had all drown when they got too tired to keep themselves afloat. She still has emotional baggage about that. x.x
