After an abortive attempt to draw Eon sporting his new outfit from my comic, which ended up making him look like the Incredible Hulk, I decided to try drawing another character of mine, Serena Darkstorm instead.

This is only the second fully coloured drawing of Serena I've done and, well, given the time that has passed between the two drawings, it's easy to see which is the better of the two. This is also the only drawing of Serena that I've published in which her artificial left arm is visible. I think mechanical things like this are still a realm in which I could do with some improvement. I'm also not too happy with the legs, but after the amount of stress just getting a half decent drawing started today caused me, I decided to just roll with it. They were too short initially, but I was able to fix that in Paint Shop Pro.

The planet Jupiter is pictured in the background, with the terraformed moon, Io also visible. The Jovian system and Io in particular have played a prominent role in my comic recently.

This drawing is the first in a series of drawings I intend to upload in place of my comic twice a week while my comic is on hiatus. I've no idea who or what I'll be drawing next, but it will most definitely be something relating to my comic.
