I plan on posting such a short each Monday. Thanks to

Tazi was pretty disappointed.
He had spent a few days on Earth now, patrolling the centre or ADVENT City 65, apprently known to those humans as London. It was a pretty nice city, if you turned your head away from the ruins of former sights being replaced by ADVENT sculptures and buildings. They humans could need it.
Though it had been an easy week for Tazi, no rebellious actions, no protests, heck, no hostility at all, like he wanted, Tazi still felt wrong. Like in the wrong place. It wasn't because he was surrounded by a completely different species most of the time, no, it was just the lack of excitement. There was no thrill, no adrenaline. He was a highly trained soldier, yet here he was at a security checkpoint, making sure everyone who passed was legit, a registered citizen and not some deviant insurgent.
Apparently terrorists were a thing. Yet Tazi had never even seen one criminal.
Not even a mugging!
He just sat there, day for day, checking ID's, hoping for something to happen. But as it seemed nothing was going to happen at all. He had been told, back on his planet, how dangerous humans could get yet the only thing they ever did when seeing him was shiver in fear, like he intended them to, become silent, obedient. He could smell their adrenaline kicking in everytime one came past.
His task was boring, mundane and unexciting.
He really hoped something would happen, at least an arrest! Or a different order.
His wish should soon become reality.
