Description: A failed summon of unknown origin who appeared in the at the time, new kingdom of Cirrus one snowy night.


Facts:

-His part-way form can only be seen by those fully in tune with their magical abilities or other familiars.

-His body is made up of an unstable magical compound. It's jelly-like in nature and cool to the touch.

-He willingly follows the orders of Cedar, the clan overseer and northern guardian.

-Being a familiar from long ago, his existence is bound to a marble statue called a scroll totem. In recent times, summoners learned how to bind scrolls directly onto their familiars without need of the heavy stone. It is still unknown how the totem re-summons him without his summoner to activate it.

-He has a unique ability to grant enchantments to weapons ranging from increased durability to an elemental boost. He can also remove the iron from blood to forge small knives, daggers, and arrow heads but they are very brittle and of little practical use.

-When taking damage his scroll totem will crack upon his defeat, these cracks are to be repaired post-haste using a special type of clay. Only Cedar and King Silver know the location of the totem.

-Cedar seems to harbor a strong hatred of Chanter. He has yet to explain why, but some believe he finds the familiar very annoying.

-When first chosen by Chanter, Cedar refused to give him a proper name and only referred to the familiar as his tool use 'enchanter totem'. Chanter decided to shorten it to Chanter thus the reason to his odd name.

-He has a strange obsession with stacking things, many times Cedar has returned home to find odd 'sculptures' made out of his possessions.
