Raver Horse sketch
For
Dogsoul which is the first part of a collab ^_^ I can't wait to see it colored!
This is only the second time I've drawn a raver--I enjoy the style, it can be quite fun...and to be honest it's nce not worrying about over-accessorizing!
The yoyos are inspired by a friend of mine who does fire poi. Someone that's talented with neon yoyos can get a similar effect.

Thank you! <3 I can't wait to see what
Dogsoul does with it either O_O

Really cool pict, and I love the details of the outfit. ;) The yo-yo's add a lot of action to the pict, and though the figure isn't flailing his arms or that motile himself, it almost give it a coolness, like a 'hands in the pocket but check this cool move out' feel that makes him suave. The yo-yo's themselves also really adds some nice perspective and distance. Final word, I think you did a very nice job on the abs.
Thanks! I'm particularly proud of the chest because it's an area that I normally have a lot of difficulty with. I've been reading Burne Hogarth's "The Dynamic Figure" and it has some great advice for how to mark the different areas of the chest even in deep space. It's boring reading, (that's an understatement, really it's a wonderful cure for insomnia) but there's so many good tips in there. I haven't tried for perspective in a while. I loved this one so much I've been trying to make my next sketch perspectivy too. I really look forward to seeing what
dogsoul does with the ink and colors.
