I love longhair cats, just can't imagine grooming them, reason why I have SH cats, lol.

My husband wants a Maine Coon, but he used to be a pet groomer, so I guess he doesn't mind as much. xD

I groom dogs and have to give baths to my cats but I've never bathed a LH cat before, I'm assuming it's easier then grooming a LH dog, lol.

Long hairs are a labor of love, good dietary planning, routine and a commitment to never shave them. Ironically, some Maine Coons are cake walks, others are nightmares... You never know until they mature really. They're like plants xD

You know, I never understood why people shave LH cats or for a matter of fact, double coated dog breeds.......People can be stupid...lol
