Oh look, more heart tearing things

Poor Mica has had a go of it in life, even with Felicity.
Not only was the pregnancy a really rough one despite her getting used to it near the end, the year or so AFTER the birth of her daughter was utter hell.
As we all know by now, Felicity was born prematurely like Mica, herself, which was one of the MANY reasons why Mica promptly went into a near mental shutdown afterwards for a good few days. There was other problems too, but the biggest issue was one that she had been terrified of since finding out she was pregnant- and that's if she'd even be a good mother or not.
Now, that's obviously something I'm pretty sure most moms go through, especially the ones who weren't expecting it. But when you have a history like Mica does... Well, those doubts start to get the best of you at times. She actually suffered a pretty nasty relapse a few months afterwards which... really wasn't pretty.
But anyway, she actually didn't HOLD Felicity until a few days later after having her, but when she held her, she didn't put her down.
At all.
She barely even let Boris hold her for a good while, terrified that something would happen to this tiny squirming bundle like what happened to her if she wasn't either holding or watching her. MANY times she would just... cuddle her. Just curl up on the bed and cuddle her, sometimes crying, sometimes even humming to put her to sleep, or even to calm down enough to sleep, herself.
She often faced thoughts of regret and fear, as well as minor panic attacks if Felicity was to start crying or making any noise that wasn't neutral or happy.
She actually didn't exactly 'bond' with Felicity immediately either despite experiencing some highly protective tendencies, but the bond itself definitely came within a few months, and suddenly she was HIGHLY maternal and just in momma-bear mode, like, ALL the time.
But yeah, the very beginning was... really rough, to say the least.
But they both made it through, and, as everyone has seen, are the absolute PERFECT duo to give Boris a headache and cause general chaos 💙
