Biography: With an exigent mother, and a soft-tempered father they left a peculiar mark on his nature.
Until the age of 16, he had been growing up in his native ketosy civilization, securely concealed from humans in the oceans depths, his being the only species that did not make contact with humans even after the existence of the zwierumorpha became widely exposed to the international community. Unlike most zwierumorpha, the culture and appearance of ketosy are not formed into a tool for disguising themselves as humans to infiltrate their society, which became one of the main arguments in favor of further maintaining isolation from land. However, being despairingly mesmerized by the prospect of harmonious coexistence between the ketosy and humans, Banyu was not stopped by neither assurances or warnings. Admittance to the surface was obtained only under the condition that any information that could lead to or pull him back home would be removed from his memory.
For the first few years on land, he was taken care by an old carpenter, who was following a semi-hermit lifestyle on one of the Indonesian islands. He was taught the craft, language, and was gradually introduced to human society in the nearest large city, where the dolphinoid soon acquired the status of a local landmark.
