More from Ashi
This is my current self.
I've cut off all the unnecessary things connected to my older Ashi character.
Her ears are no longer down and floppy like a basset hound, they are upright floppy just how they were suppose to be in the first place. When I picked an animal to base myself around I used my own pet dog Shade. He is so cute, I wanted to be as adorable as him.
So by doing that I want more natural colors as well, so I went back to dark gray/black tones for the fur. No more unnatural purples, we'll let Ashes keep the purples.
But Ashi/I still love purple and stars. c;
I got rid of her background story, everything I've rp'd with. All gone. No traumas, no historical events, no husband, no children. Nothing.
I got rid of her summon powers, she was never really suppose to have these in the first place. So no magic here.
And SHOO WINGS, super annoying to draw and I thought they were kawaiidesu at the time. So no more of that shit.
Her tail is a bit shorter since I like short fluffy tails. Ears upright. Hair changed to my current hair style until I restyle it. Same body weight/type.
I do believe I will draw her more as the self I want to be. So a healthier weight, fun clothing, so on.
She is everything I am. We have the same past, same difficulties. She is me. Not just some character. But want to make her a better me. So I will have something to shoot for,
I'll be sure to doodle myself in fun little comics or skits with my friends. We have hilarious times together that HAVE to be shared. x3
Now everyone please understand. This is ASHI. Ashes is not Ashi, Coacoa is not Ashi, none of my other characters are not Ashi. They are not me. This is me. Plain and simple. lol I don't mind you calling me by other characters names, but when you repeatedly call Ashes "Ashi" it does tick me off a bit. c: Just saying for future references.
One thing that didn't change, is the song I originally drew her too. I went back and put it on repeat as I doodled. "In the End" by Linkin Park. This song now fits her more than it ever has before.

I like how it looks. Very natrual over all else. Only thing that feels weird about it is the that ears and tail are a different colour from the hair. Yeah I know how that does happen with actual animals, just that it seems a bit of a jump with no visable blend between the two. What I admire most is that you base the figure on yourself and have no problem with it. :)
The figure is just lovely to see in characters. It's natrual, not exagirated. It's a rare sight in art when most chubbier characters are drawn so... large.
