Here's an idea for the 10th generation: psychic, dark, and fighting starters. After 20 years maybe they can try something new

Wouldn't be balanced, since Dark is immune to Psychic rather than just weak to it.

While this is true, I see it as more incentive to either make the psychic type learn a fighting move, or raise a second pokemon rather than use the starter as a crutch for the entire story. Something that has four moves of the same type isn't a great idea anyhow

EDIT - Just checked them out, and it looks like they may have actually "copied" my idea for a grass starter. Tsutaja has arms and legs, granted, but it's otherwise a similar idea, right down to having plantlife grow from its tail. If it turns out to be a Grass/Dragon as its final evo, I'm calling shenanigans.

And Pokabu's English name SO NEEDS to have some reference to bacon, ham, and barbecue. Porcue or Porcon or something.

I have no idea why are people picking sides when nobody has seen them in action yet? Will its type be an advantage early in the game? Will it learn better moves than a pokemon that was created a few years ago? Nobody knows yet and are arguing about appearances alone.
