well I'm assuming that the model you used for this render is very high poly, but you can fix that in various ways, other then that from what I know it's just a matter of adding hit boxes, a skeleton (that's what the game uses to animate a model) and then script animations for it.
if your interested in doing the work, look it up, there are a ton of tutorials online about this stuff, and custom modeling for games is about the easiest thing you can do as for as game modding goes.

I see, well depending on the engine you plan to convert it over for, poly count may not even be a big issue, the source engine can support some high poly counts. I'd suggest you fix it up and make it look nice in the engine it's going to be rendered in, unless your satisfied with out it looks rough (without the rendering engine's smoothing).
