Biceptember Growth part One || Two
Maxime revealed to the six, that he was one who helped people form resistance groups across the city last night but he got separated from Thunderzekrom in a furniture store when Hypercore and his new minions was forcibly recruiting workers and fleeing citizens. Maxime was forced to hide in a closet, but one of Hypercore's minions managed to track him down via smell and transformed him into a grizzly hunk, overgrowing the closet he was in. As the five turned to stare at the blue dragon, TZ's confusion turned into horror and the dragon confirmed that he was with Maxime in the same situation, but he got separated from the bear, he tried looking for him into a big maze of furniture, only to be dragged by Lightning. For few seconds, TZ, having connected two cases in one, called out Lightning for stopping TZ from saving Maxime, in which the fox acknowledged, even having witnessed Maxime's turn, but pointed out that transformed hunks were closer to Maxime, and Lightning had to save TZ from suffering the same fate as Maxime's.
Alex added that he also coated Lightning with garbage last night, as garbage smell prevented monsters from finding hiding victims. He did the same to himself and his dalmatian brother, as he learned it from Patih. Patih himself negotiated with a lone officer in form of German Shepherd to use his police station as a temporary HQ for a small resistance group, where Kenjiro and Gojiro would set plans with assistance from Lightning and Hopey. Hopey confirmed Maxime's involvement in forming resistance groups and credited him for buying her time and resource to form one.
After patiently listening to the six, Maxime asked Kenjiro about his part in resistance. Kenjiro revealed that he just came to the city along with his brother and his girlfriend for a local concert. It ended abruptly when the news reached them. They had to run away on foot as many transformed hunks destroyed cars in search of hiding victims. As they somehow got themselves in a panicky crowd, they were forced to run into a police station when TZ and Lightning were guarding its gate. Hypercore's minions captured most of the crowd, but Kenjiro, Gojiro and his girlfriend managed to escape. However, the cat twins proved to be better strategists as they were also video gamers. Hence, they ended up leading the small group. Initially the group was out of 30 members, but the other 20 had to leave and form their groups elsewhere and away from the station to avoid getting corrupted by Hypercore and to better coordinate with other groups in taking down the supervillain.
Maxime just laughed evilly, revealing to the six that he had already given his info he had last night to Hypercore, and declaring to the six that Hypercore and his lieutenants would actively hunt down every small group until there were none. Soon they would gather tens of small resistance groups, transformed into muscular hunks loyal to Hypercore, and invade the prison island holding the largest resistance group, through all means from air to even underground. Out of the now horrified six, Alex asked if Maxime would transform them as well, in which the bear smugly confirmed and asked if that didn't sound obvious to the cowardly fox. Alex gulped as Maxime picked the said fox, Kenjiro and TZ while the other monsters laughed evilly. Lightning, Hopey and Patih were horrified to witness Alex, Kenjiro and TZ becoming ruthless giants who restrained the former 3, to help Maxime quickly trigger their transformation. Afterwards, the small resistance group holed up in the police station was no more. All ten brave members had been transformed into aggressive but loyal bodybuilders in torn clothing, corrupted into loving muscles and forming a society of musclebound people, and bent on betraying other groups to Hypercore. Unbeknownst to them, a former member of the former's group was seeing the whole situation from a nearby apartment. Horrified, they went off to alert their boss.
