I'm not sure why so many of the names I give myself come from latin, but they tend to. I've had the name Lacrimas Sanguinem (latin for tears of blood, or bloody weeping) for so long now... and somehow I didn't change my name when I changed this character. Lacrimas Sanguinem was my angsty teenage role playing character for Furcadia. She was originally a wolf with a very bloody angsty story. And while there's still large parts of my psyche attatched to this name, another of my names has been surfacing in my head lately. Lucio (latin for "I shine") was a name I gave a more positive part of my psyche, originally drawn as an older more attractive me. I kind of feel I've become that person I wanted to be so long ago, and I think maybe, if only internally, it'll be good for me to think of myself with a more positive name. This is related more to self image than furry image. This is also sort of a "Sunshine and Melancholly 3" though I may give it a real background before officially posting it as such.
