The Land After Time: Chomper and Ruby
In this depiction, It is actually Ruby who finds Chomper's egg and cares for him as if he were her little brother. Chomper is also an orphan, and his parents presumably died before he was ever born. Since the two lived in the Great Beyond before moving to the Great Valley, Chomper picked up the Sharptooth language from the Sharptooth raiders of the Great Beyond.
Chomper
Age: 6
Bio: The Sharptooth Raiders of the great beyond are merciless, constantly hunting, killing, in order to feed, however, the morality of the Shraptooth have been bought into question, do they truly enjoy their slaughter? or are they simply just trying to survive like everyone else? Chomper puts this question into a new light by being able to coexist with other leaf eaters, and even form great bonds with them too, even to go so far as to being a part of Ruby's family. He is however is unsure of his future, and what might happen when he grows older, will he be able to truly still stay with his friends? Or will his hunger and predatory instincts ultimately take over? causing him to hurt them? It's not a thought he relishes, and instead hopes that maybe he can find his place in this society of Flattooths.
Skills: Despite being only 6 years old, Chomper has the greatest bite force out of his friends, inflicting bleeding, and is also capable of shattering even bone with his crunches, his legs can also deliver a powerful kick, strong enough to break stone stalactites.
Ruby
Age: 14
Bio: Before finding their way to the Great Valley, Ruby, Chomper and their family lived in Hanging Rock Falls, which was once a park back in the time of great living. However, after Red Claw arrived, he and his raptor partners attacked the group, Ruby's Parents created a diversion telling her to meet them at the Observatory safe point, while Ruby took Chomper and Ran for her life, she may have been fast but was no match for Red Claw's minion Screech, who would have killed her, if Chomper hadn't fought back. allowing them to escape. After Red Claw left, Ruby headed to the gathering location at Hanging Rock Observatory, however, much to her horror, the only thing she found were the lifeless bodies of her parents... who appear to have succumbed to their wounds, from Red Claw and Thud. With no sign of her siblings anywhere, Chomper said he had never seen Anyone more sad than Ruby in his entire life... After a few hours of consoling the grieving Fast Runner. The two left Hanging Rock Falls to search for a new home. The death of her parents has caused Ruby to act more maturely than anyone on her team, even treating Chomper as if she were his mother.
Skills: As her species' name suggests, Ruby has the fastest land speed out of all her friends, and she is also capable of leaping higher and further than them as well.

This addition to the series is really good! I truly enjoy the time and thought you put into the character descriptions / back stories. Like your Pokémon: Baby Blue & Pampered Pink, you give information with your art that acts like what you would read in an instruction manual / in-game tutorial.

Thanks! Although I kinda came up with both stories on the fly. I didn't exactly have a grand plan for them when I started.
Anyways, an issue I've had with Ruby was that she just kinda appears in the great valley one day, without much explanation, and everyone there acts like they've known her for some time now. I really would've liked to see the gang maybe meeting her for the first time, and reuniting with Chomper too!
If this series ever does have a storyline, I think one of the episodes will be about Ruby trying to smuggle Chomper into the Great Valley, as she knows it's the only place where they can be truly safe from Red Claw. With the gang being suspicious of Ruby's actions only to learn that she has a baby Sharptooth with her! And they have a little freak out scene, before coming to eventually accept both Chomper and Ruby as part of the Team.
And for the first few episodes Chomper will be a secret to the gang, but later, the grown-ups find out about him, and want to murder him because he's a Sharptooth, and there will be a dramatic episode about the gang trying to protect Chomper, with maybe some discussions about the morality of the Sharpteeth, eventually there's an agreement and that Chomper can stay in the Great Valley.

About all I can figure is something bad happened to Chomper's parents and, with the help of Elsi, he got back to the mainland prior to coming across Ruby and her parents.
Your story accounts for why Ruby's parents are no longer in the picture. 'The Star day Celebration' gives us an interesting back story, but there are a lot of plot holes that, wonderfully, you have filled.
This would make a great show as well as game. Lots of potential.

Actually, there was an episode of the TV series called "return to hanging rock" which explains a bit more about what happened to Ruby's Parents. This episode's Synopsis is as follows: When Ruby was a kid, she got lost in the Mysterious Beyond on the day of the Flying Rocks, thankfully she was found by her mother, and her mother tells her to head to a location called Hanging Rock, so if she were to ever get lost on the day of Flying Rocks again she should head there and that's where her parents would be.
After escaping to the Great Valley, The Day of the Flying Rocks return, and Ruby remembers the story and sets off to see if her Parents are still alive.

After reaching Hanging Rock, she actually finds her Parents, and even her siblings once more! and she sings that she's glad to see them again, before being interrupted by Red Claw's roar, strangely, her family doesn't return with her to the great valley, and instead return once more into the Mysterious Beyond! why? It's also the last episode where we see Ruby's Parents sadly, but I believe they're most likely still alive post TV Series.
