That is a fair trade off a slightly reduced profit but make the work much easier with no need to worry on the rations that is a fair trade to me in my opinion. The only problem how are you gonna get new clothes as a birb phegal? especially with a potion that will wear off... Just try not to eat all the shipment and also if you do do this again pack a separate set of rations for this form and a potion with longer duration for multiple shipments and take off the clothes before you transform to avoid buying a new outfit next time would be my recommendation.
