It's hard to want to leave home for Catt. Harder still to want to enter a crowd, yet here she is...being forced into a crowd. Forced to be shoulder to shoulder with hundreds...no thousands of strangers. And by her own husband, no less! How could he do this to her? Of course...there was a little excitement within her at the prospect of finally seeing her favorite band.

I don't have anything set up just yet, so don't get too excited, but I've considered the possibility of taking short-story writing commissions. In an attempt to test myself and see what I could do, I accepted a request from my good friend  catt, who asked for a short piece on a date night with her two characters. I don't normally use other people's characters, so doing this was a bit intimidating, but I had to test myself, yes? I confess, I kept a lot of the details in this general to make it easier for myself. Instead, I focused all most all of my attention on the emotional aspects of the story. Probably cheating, that. Details are important, after all. I'm told, though, that I managed to get inside Catt's head really well! That, alone, was super exciting!
