guitar work on this is stellar, too, tbh, I really like the melody around 3:40 or so, and the fadeout bit afterwards is great as well

gahhh i can't wait to try out these goddamn drum samples...I think it'll be easier once I reinstall Reason with its drum sequencer thinger

I only have a Roland Micro Cube amp with me at this vocational training place, but I'm sure I can crank out a tune with it when all is said and done...maybe as early as today, hopefully.

Oh wonderful! Especially towards the end, it starts to sound a little like there's a dialogue going on between well, the guitar and itself, (by the end I mean most of the second half of the piece)

This song does feature "dialogue" between Pintear and their mate; it's about how the two met, pretty much.

Wonderful, that means that you managed to convey your point! I'm ashamed to say that when I write things, they're pointless (or I write them with no specific "thing" in mind)

If you want, you could make a thread on the FA forums asking for inspiration. There are a lot of people out there who want songs written about them - they'll be more than glad to tell you their story on which you can base a song.

Oh, I'm not lacking in inspiration, I just write pieces without a point, except for that of sounding pleasing to the ear!
