Nexus City is the beating heart of a proud nation. But it's also a city diseased by corruption, ruled by megacorporations. People either win big or lose everything. It's a merciless neon jungle that never sleeps. In such a place the small are rarely heard, and the big companies just do whatever they can to make a bigger profit. Virtues are rare and the police is bribed to obey the companies. Hospitals only take patiens who can afford the care. Schools teach kids that belong to 'right' social groups. Military-like mercenaries hired by corporations keep an eye on the people and don't hesitate to intervene. People go missing on a regular basis, and only few are ever found again. The rain burns and the sky is always dark from all the pollution that were emitted from previous generations. One can smell the evil.
From the darkness, a hero emerges. He knows the law, but the law isn't always right. He respects it, but doesn't follow it. He knows what must be done, and stops at nothing. He is wanted by the police and almost all the corporations. They want him dead. Before everyone thought change would be impossible, but thanks to this noble dark knight there's a chance now, and the big dogs are afraid. What is his ultimate goal, you might ask. He wants justice to prevail and make the evil overlords accountable for their actions. He must avenge those who had suffered because they didn't have the power to fight back. Equipped with his wits, agility and magic, he won't stop until he is done.
