Second in a series of twelve depicting my dragon characters from a pending roleplay website called "The Beyond".

I've drawn this series before. But I've had a desire lately to draw them again. I'm more likely to finish this because I don't have to worry about coloring them. This is what I call the "old parchment" treatment. An excellent visual effect in a fraction of the time.

This is Riakisch "The Red", a dragon most at home in the skies, though the length of his legs also make him the fastest runner of the Twelve. No other dragon in the Beyond possesses legs as long as he does.

Though imposing in appearance, Riakisch is actually very civil to those he meets. Because he spends most of his life travelling and exploring, he enjoys visiting his kin in their homes periodically, and when accompanying Flamewing he acts as a peacemaker to her temper. Though his current whereabouts are unknown, he can be counted on to reappear whenever he is needed.
