Gretchen wasn’t the best of swimmers. While she did love going to the beach, she did so more for sun bathing and people watching; particularly the cute boys. She had a bit of a short temper, which tended to cause her to get riled up easily. Not only that, but she was quite competitive and enjoyed playing a little beach volleyball.

Being turned into a Qwilfish Pokemorph didn’t help her swimming ability that much, but at least she would no longer be in danger of drowning if she hopped into the water. Perhaps the most inconvenient things about her new body, however (besides the small spikes that adorned her body), was that her body would swell up if she got too excited or angry. In this state, it was a bit difficult for her to move without rolling or bouncing.
