So, what have adorable Coca-Cola commercials of years past taught us? That's right, all cute and/or fluffy arctic animals enjoy the refreshing taste of Classic Coke. And where do these little wildlife critters get it? Why, if you've paid attention, they ALWAYS get it from polar bears. ALWAYS.
This is because, it would seem, POLAR BEARS CONTROL THE WORLD'S ONLY COCA-COLA SPRINGS.
Like any cherished natural resource, it has been contended from time to time. Animals of the Mongolian Steppes, for example, might like to partake of the delight that is Coca-Cola, instead of being stuck with V8 day in and day out. Yet despite numerous advances of both Saiga and Mongolian Wild Horses, no-one has ever managed to take the Cokesprings by force.
This is because...dude, POLAR BEARS. ;)
Okay actually I made all that up on a whim. XD
This is a commission from FCN that didn't get done before I left because I sometimes suck at being timely. :P Here we see Pakesh the Polar Bear, smiting the EVIL that is Pepsi (a product of South America, made and protected by the Armed Spider Monkey Legions...okay I'll stop that now. XD!!!) and holding aloft the joyous Classic Coke in a convenient 2 litre...and just to remind everyone HEY, CANADIAN, I threw in a giant Canadian flag. :)
Overall I'm EXTREMELY proud of this. Watercolour and a small ammount of ink on cardstock. :3

...yeah I know, I lived in Canada for about seven years. ;) My ex and kiddo (ex has custody) live there still, and thus to visit them I'm across the border at least once a month. I'll be in Ontario again next week, for example. :P
I may be a Michigander but the Star Spangled Banner isn't the only national anthem I know by heart. ;)
Look, the commissioner is a Canadian, wanted to have his Polar Bear fursona drawn in his military uniform, and with a Coca-Cola theme. I kept thinking about the commercials while drawing it.
I know there's polar bears elsewhere. And I know Coke isn't made in Canada, really. I was just trying (and frankly succeeding) to have fun with this and maybe get a laugh or two from folk with a sense of humour. :P If that doesn't include you, then I'm sorry. YMMV.

I like the pic, and am happy to now use it as a icon and whatnot and may even use it as the icon spot for the Con Zero badge image, or the badge you made when it gets scanned in.
I just chuckle seeing my grumpies defending my sacred cola from the evil pepsico franchise, sneaking into my KFC's and Wendy's to swap out coke for pepsi.. *yug*

Well I will now be attending AC so if need be we can hitch up there. Working on my crash space plans atm to make sure I got a corner to pass out in for the days I am there, since the other plan kind of went sideways.
Gaia bless to you and Dogsoul and yeah id still love to have the other older sketch she did of my bear at FCN too if that's possible, as I miss that piece and i looked decent in uniform..unlike now *chuckle*.
