The upper rifle is made by Masudaya, and doesn't seem to represent any particular type. It disassembles and reassembles into a number of configuratoins -- I'll show another, my favourite, in the last photo. It operates with a hand lever on the right side -- out of sight. It has a very odd arrangement -- a rotating cylander with six or eight chambers that take the standard 6mm pellet. (Or the end of a used pencil type eraser.) The maker calls it a BS-Buffalo-08 Secret Sniper SS-200, which is a lot of hooey.
The lower rifle is a pretty decent replica of a Steyr AUG. It comes with a folding iron sight and telescopic sight for the rail on the carrying handle. A side rail allows a laser pointer/tactical light combo to be attached. Pistol foregrip folds foreward. The last photo in my series shows it disassembled.

Again, I bought it in a variety store down the street. Not the same one, oddly enough.
The store also had a XM-8, but I didn't like the looks of it as much. Also, it doesn't look as though the US is going to adopt the XM into service. I would imagine they'll continue using the M-16 at least another ten years. The M-16 is a fine arm, but it's beginning to look a little primative compared to the bull-pup designs in service in many other countries. The XM wasn't all that advanced either. It looked futuristic, but was basically the same configuration as the M-16... though it did perform better.
