I am abandoned.
Everyone - my friends, family -
Has left me alone.

They tell me that they
Love me and want to help me.
I've never heard such lies.

When I need them most,
When I am close to choosing
The ultimate choice.

I find they have gone.
Far too busy with their lives
To bother with mine.

So, I'm on my own
To try to not fall into
My inner despair.

I cannot hold on.
As much as I try, alone
I always lose hope.

I need someone there;
To catch me before I fall.
But no one is there.

I can't depend on
Any of them to save me.
